We’ve all heard the buzz about choosing your “niche” repeatedly, but what is the meaning of niche? According to the dictionary, the meaning of niche is “denoting or relating to products, services, or interests that appeal to a small, specialized section of the population.”  

Meaning of niche in relation to online marketing is:

  • having a specific appeal
  • a specialized market
  • a place, employment, status, or activity for which a person or thing is best fitted
  • a site or business fitting or relevant for someone 
  • a distinct segment of a market.
